BulletProof FTP Server is a useful and easy to use File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Server, for home and office purposes.
The user interface offers an easy graphical way to control all the operations and transfers.
The application has the capability of resuming broken or interrupted transfers (both ways: uploads and downloads) at the point they were stopped.
User can view, monitor and trace all the server activity and traffic at the moment it is in operation (real time), disk quota, bandwidth, and traffic shapping.
For Windows Vista users, the application includes the option of code-signing of executable files, to match the O.S. security rules.
Connections are IP based for the access control for IP, domain, user. FTP Messaging support. The application allows the user to set a maximum number of connections for every IP, Domain, User.
Uploads and downloads are ensured by the built-in credits for P2P file trading. NAT/Firewall support with connections in passive mode.
Application can generate user statistics and status generation logs, as well as customized messages for FTP users.
It includes the option of preseting actions when uploading files, such as: check files for virus, send an email everytime a file is uploaded, download a file, etc.
New users are easy to create by adding from the user menu with a custom or program generated password. The application also allows to create permissions for groups, share folders, etc.
For Server monitoring, the application includes a "Hit-O-Meter" to see which files is more visited by seeing the amount of downloads, as well as the last user that has downloaded it. Server can monitor and watch users activities, block IP accesses, send a message, and check the appropriate permissions.
The application supports dynamic IP and the capability of assigning multiple IPs. It includes a task scheduler for re-initiating the PC, activate or inhibit the server, or interrupt the Internet connection at an specific date and time.
